Google Play store is the online application store available on the Android devices. You can download any of the applications you want/need by searching for it in the Play store. Also it would show a list of featured applications or the trending ones. But more often or less the apps that you search are saved in the search history and they auto populate. So it is important that the history is deleted as it may be personal to you.
Search history deletion on Play store is really easy but is slightly different on the new Play store and in case you do not know how to do it, we are sharing the below steps which would help you do so:
Deleting the local Play store search History:
Primarily you have to be logged into your Google account whose search history you want to be deleted. Below are the steps for it.
Launch the Play Store application from your android phone and click on the Hamburger icon at the top left corner. Also, you can swipe right from the left side of the screen and this would get you the Playstore Menu Bar
Once you have the Menu scroll down and search for the Settings option and click on it.
Under Settings, there would be an option which would say Clear Local Search History. Click on it and all your search history from the Google account you have logged in will be deleted.
Using this procedure you can delete the search history for other Google play-store accounts from a single device. All you have to do is log out and log in with the required google account and follow the above steps. Hope this article helped you on how to delete the PlayStore search history.
